* Entrants compete only within their own type, genre, and sub-genre (if applicable)

* Judges with backgrounds in business, literature, education, music, gaming, and film will evaluate all entries as fairly and thoroughly as humanly possible
* The strengths and weaknesses of each entrant will be evaluated with each entry given a score of 0-100 and a grade of F- to A+. Low scores or grades (below 75 or C) will not be revealed publicly.
* A "Grand-Prize Winner" is an entrant whose score is the highest above all other competitors in their contest type (in all books, all films, all art, etc.)
* 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place distinctions are given to those who meet the necessary qualifications of those designations in their respected genre and/or sub-genre
* Entries must reach a minimal score threshold of 75 out of 100 (C grade) to qualify for an award or placement to reinforce the standards and prestige of the awards
